I’m primarily interested in agents, editors and pitch session information. However, as of now there is no information regarding who will be attending, how many pitches will be available etc.
Will you be sending out more information?
Thanks,
Danny
Hi Danny,
We are in the process of working with our agents & editors to develop our list. We anticipate having that completed later in the summer. Hopefully that helps.
Hi. Do you know when you’ll have a list of classes and industry professionals who’ll be attending the 2022 conference?
Hi Doug,
We’re working on our class list now. We anticipate having it ready closer to the end of summer. Hope that helps.
Thank you!
I’d like to set up a vendor’s table at your conference. I’d be selling my two novels. But I don’t see any options for vendors to buy a vending permit. Will there not be vendors there?
Hi Ed,
Thank you for reaching out. Yes, we plan to have vendors at the conference.
Please reach out to our conference director, Colin Holmes at director@dfwcon.org for more information.
I’m so excited about this! Is there any option for a smaller entry fee if you volunteer during the conference?
Hi Carrie, we share your enthusiasm! Our volunteers are all DFW Writers Workshop members and are required to serve on the conference committee for a full year before we can offer any type of discount. If you’re in the DFW area and want to join our Wednesday Night read and critique meetings, it’s a great way to get started in the work of putting together the Conference.
Hello,
Due to the conference being virtual last year, I was told I would have access to free attendance to this year’s conference. Can you assist me in registering and applying this free attendance so I will not be charged twice?
Thanks!
Hi Sarah, we’ll have confirmations going out soon, but if you’d send an email to director@dfwcon.org, We’ll check for you.
