I purchased a ticket several weeks ago, but now something has come up and I’m waiting to see if I’ll still be able to attend. If I can’t attend, is there a refund policy?
Please discuss this with our director. You can email at director(at)dfwcon(dot)org
Thanks.
I am considering registering for the conference… but I have two FULLs out right now. Should I get an offer from an agent -always thinking positively
– prior to the conference, I’d still like to come, but may want to pitch to editors instead of agents… is it difficult to change my list of who I want to pitch to should this occur? Also, what is the latest I can register and still have the option to get my name on the list to pitch to agents or editors?
Thank you.
Congrats on the two Fulls. We will be activating the agent/editor pitch session sign-up soon. Once active, you’ll be able to go in and make your selection, or change selections, up to about two weeks prior to the conference. Steve will be posting on the website, Facebook, and Twitter, when he plans on closing the selections. Keep in mind that we give many opportunities to interact with agents and editors throughout the conference weekend; this pitch sessions are just one. As for registering for the conference, keep in mind that the sign-up is a first come first-choice basis. The earlier you register the better your chances for getting your first choice. The more popular agents WILL fill out fast.
How do you get the list of agents I want to pitch to? Is it sent to you when it is saved, or do I need to send it to you? Thank you in advance for your quick response to my inquiry.
Marge, we can see your entries in the database. You’re good to go.
On the final Registration page, there was a Twitter address to which we can subscribe, for updates etc. I didn’t write it down, and now can’t find it on the conference website. Would you be so good as to put it here? thanks
The twitter is @DFWCON. Thanks for the suggestion to add it.
I am the world’s most efficient person–95% of the time. That other 5% ruins my life! Could you please tell me if I have already registered for this conference? I was sure I had, but cannot find any documentation. Thanks. Melissa Lewicki, melissa.lewicki@aol.com.
Hi! All of my friends have received their pitch assignments and I haven’t. Now I’m worried my email was lost in transit
. Who can I email to receive my assignment? Thanks!!
Please ignore this comment!! I received it. Thanks so much.
I just discovered this. Is it too late to register? What would be off limits for me at this late date? Thanks!
All the small group workshops and the eBook is filled. No waiting list. Birdy will also be talking about eBooks in her self-pub, technical breakdown class
